300,000 people worldwide have recovered
According to Johns Hopkins University 300,000 people across the globe have recovered from COVID-19 and the number is rising. We get daily figures of how many new cases there have been and sadly how many lives have been lost so this is a welcome glimmer of hope in the news this week!

Leo Varadkar Re-Registers as a Doctor
It was announced this week that Leo Varadkar will return to work for one shift a week to help in the battle against COVID-19. Our Taoiseach doing us proud yet again! The move gained worldwide praise and we even made it onto Memzars Instagram account boasting 17.7 million followers!

U2s Contribution to the fight against COVID-19
Love them or hate them you cannot deny how incredibly generous U2’s €10 Million donation is. The donation is to provide money to source and buy much needed PPE for frontline staff. The Faces Behind the Masks
The incredible staff at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin have printed out pictures of themselves to stick on the front of their scrubs. The heartwarming move is to make patients feel a little bit more at ease in the hospital. Just another amazing gesture from our frontline staff!
